Sarajevo Canton officials offer condolences regarding death of Zagreb Mayor

"At a time when sad news are catching up with each other and when we are saying goodbye to the suddenly deceased relatives, friends and colleagues, we received the news of the death of Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic with disbelief and sadness. He was a person of exceptional life energy, long-time first man of the Croatian capital and a visionary, he is indisputably responsible for Zagreb growing into a modern metropolis.

He was linked to Bosnia and Herzegovina and to Sarajevo, which he visited with love and which always welcomed him warmly. We express our sincere condolences to his family, friends and citizens of the city of Zagreb ", reads the letter of condolences of the Government of Canton Sarajevo officials, among other things.
