Sarajevo Canton Police inspector apprehended for alleged ties to organized crime
Acting on the order and in coordination with the BiH Prosecutor's Office, Sarajevo Canton’s police apprehended a police inspector of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior who is suspected of divulging confidential information, assisting criminals and embezzlement, the Ministry said Tuesday.
The police inspector is suspected of obtaining illegal property benefits from criminals and organized crime groups, for a long time. He also, allegedly, provided information and data regarding police operations and activities.
During the day, the suspect will be handed over to the acting prosecutor, who will decide on further activities towards the suspect after questioning.
