Sarajevo Canton sees rise in tourist arrivals and overnight stays in February

According to data from the Sarajevo Canton Tourism Board, February 2025 saw an 8.8 percent increase in arrivals and a 14.5 percent increase in overnight stays compared to the same month the previous year.

During this period, the highest number of foreign tourists came from Turkey, Croatia, Serbia, China, Slovenia, Montenegro, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Statistical data from the Sarajevo Canton Tourism Board for the first two months of this year show a 14.4 percent increase in the number of guests compared to the same period in 2024, and a 20.5 percent increase in overnight stays compared to the same period last year.
