The three were accused of arranging a meeting with Velid Tvrtkovic between February 20 and 25, 2020, ahead of the internal elections for president of the Sarajevo Cantonal Board of the Democratic Action Party (SDA), scheduled for February 26 that year. The candidates in those elections were Semir Efendic and Fikret Prevljak.
According to the indictment, the men promised Tvrtkovic that his wife would be employed in an institution led by SDA officials if he voted for Prevljak. Prosecutors alleged that this offer was made by leveraging their influential party positions: Sarajlic as a member of the SDA leadership and deputy leader of the party, Delalic as a member of the Executive Board of the SDA Novi Grad Sarajevo branch, and Sehovic as a former technical secretary of the party.
The retrial was ordered after the February 2023 acquittal was overturned. With the latest verdict, all three men were again found not guilty.
