“Yesterday I was forced to file a report with the FBiH Police Administration against the president of the Abraham Group and the CEO of Aluminij, Amir Gross Kabiri. Namely, for several months now I have been the victim of constant and almost daily harassment by the aforementioned person. I became the target of this man the moment I did not allow the plaque on the City Hall to be covered for the purpose of celebrating the State of Israel Day, as well as several other requests that I considered provocative, even though I was ready to agree to everything else. The attacks became more brutal at the moment when I publicly condemned the killing of innocent civilians in Palestine, but also the killing of innocent civilians in Israel,” Karic wrote in a post on social networks, among other things.
She added that she did not intend to react the way she did, but she felt that her safety was threatened.
“Since that day, Amir Gross Kabiri has been sending photos of murdered children to my social media inbox, both publicly and secretly, accusing me of supporting Hamas, condemning my condemnation of the killing of innocents in Gaza. He shares and sends videos and photos of brutal murders and abuse to me personally, along with messages that I perceived as a threat to the safety of not only me personally, but also my family, telling me in them that ‘history will judge me very soon’, and that my attitudes ‘will not be forgiven’ etc.
The Mayor concluded that she had no intention of reacting in this way, but after increasingly frequent messages from Kabiri, she felt threatened and scared, especially for her three-year-old child. For this reason she filed a report. In addition to the report to the FBiH Police Department, she addes she would also file a defamation lawsuit against the Aluminij CEO.
