Accompanied by the sounds of drums and a vibrant display of flags, activists utilized megaphones to articulate pressing calls for reform regarding legislative frameworks, the education system, and the overall safety of all citizens, with a specific focus on the LGBTIQ+ community.
A primary demand emphasized by the activists is an urgent institutional response to violence and intolerance. During the march, organizers called for immediate legislative amendments to ensure that hate crimes and hate speech are adequately recognized and strictly sanctioned. The participants explicitly stated that these legal protections must extend to the digital sphere, citing the increasingly toxic environment found within online spaces.
Beyond immediate legislative changes, the movement highlighted the necessity for long-term social transformation, starting with the nation's schools. Activists advocated for an educational system grounded in tolerance, inclusion, and the acceptance of diversity, arguing that the current system often deepens divisions and prejudices among younger generations.
