Sarajevo ranked 6th in the world according to air pollution index

Just above Sarajevo are cities from China, Bangladesh, Pakistan and India, which often "fill" the first places on the list of this page when it comes to air pollution.

When it comes to the current assessment of air quality as unhealthy in Sarajevo, it means that the Bosnian capital is in the so-called red zone and that protection is recommended to avoid infection or respiratory diseases, more precisely, wearing a protective mask with filters. Health experts in such situations advise not to being outside, apart from emergency situations.
