The renaming of Zvornicka Street to Ivica Osim Boulevard was formalized at the Sarajevo Canton Assembly session on April 19, when this initiative received unanimous support. A symbolic street, Zvornicka, was also chosen because it passes by the Grbavica stadium, where Osim left the deepest mark.
The board was ceremonially unveiled by the head of the Novo Sarajevo Municipality, Hasan Tanovic, and the president of FC Zeljeznicar, Edis Kovacevic.
