As of May 1, all students in Sarajevo Canton will use public transportation free of charge, the Sarajevo Canton Government has decided, making the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina the first city in the region making this public service free. Pročitaj više

“All pupils and students will be able to use the public transportation free of charge and we believe that the decision will contribute to better results of our youth, but also to home budgets,” said minister Adnan Steta.

With this decision Sarajevo has become the first city in the region offering free public transportation to its pupils and students.

The government said that Sarajevo will serve as an example to all cities in the country and the region when it comes to transportation ticket prices as well as special advantages offered to its citizens.
