Domestic exhibitors presented the country’s diverse tourism offer, while international participants included representatives from Montenegro, Indonesia, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The Montenegrin coastal town of Ulcinj was the fair’s partner city.
The accompanying conference program addressed key tourism industry issues, including workforce challenges, destination branding, themed travel routes, sustainable and wellness tourism, digital innovation and international best practices. Practical workshops were also held for tourism professionals, entrepreneurs, guides and students.
The cultural program featured a screening of Robert Dacešin’s film ''Travnik – Heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina'', a sevdalinka music program and a presentation of Sarajevo’s traditional crafts.
Organizers said the fair aims to promote Sarajevo as a regional hub for tourism cooperation, facilitate business connections and encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience among tourism professionals.
The third edition of TOURISM EXPO SARAJEVO is scheduled for October 21–24, 2027.
