Sarajevo is the second most polluted city in the world on Saturday evening, according to the Air Visual air quality measurement system, while the world’s most polluted city is Delhi, India.
Air pollution index amounted to 286 and concentration of PM 2.5 particles was at 236 µg/m³ making the air “very unhealthy.”
Ekoakcija, a local air quality measurement system, also warned of very unhealthy air in the Bosnian capital, particularly for the population with respiratory diseases.
