During his visit to Berlin, High Representative Christian Schmidt briefed German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul on current developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the challenges and opportunities on BiH’s path toward EU integration, the OHR stated in a post on X. "BiH is a European country and belongs in the EU. Even though the political situation is currently unsatisfactory, I thank Germany for its constant support to BiH and the OHR," stated the High Representative.
He emphasized that the highest priority at present is the enforcement of the rule of law.
