The search for individuals missing due to the floods and landslides persisted on Wednesday in the Buturovic Polje region and other areas within the Neretvica river basin. This was confirmed by the Operational Center of Civil Protection Agency for the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNK) in their morning report.

At present, all heavy machinery is being directed towards clearing local roads. Teams on the ground are actively removing debris from these roads, while repairs to the water, electricity, and telephone networks continue in parallel.

Efforts to distribute essential supplies—such as medicines, food, clothing, hygiene products, and other necessities—to the affected population are ongoing as well.

Following directives from the FBiH and HNK Civil Protection Headquarters and the City Civil Protection Headquarters of Konjic, a total of 330 people were evacuated from flood-hit areas in Konjic by 3:43 am.

In total, 411 individuals have been evacuated thus far.

Specialized rescue teams resumed their search for victims in the Jablanica area early this morning. Concurrently, work to clear debris from roads, as well as repairs to water, electricity, and telephone lines, remain in progress. Essential supplies, including food and medicine, are also being distributed to residents within the municipality.

During the night, several affected individuals were relocated to safe locations: 9 people were evacuated to a sports hall, 24 people to a private facility in Grabovac, and two immobile persons were placed in a nursing home. Others found temporary accommodation with relatives, friends, and acquaintances.

Road access within the municipality of Jablanica to certain populated areas and neighbouring municipalities has been disrupted, and efforts are underway to restore connectivity by clearing the roads.

Power outages continue to affect certain areas of the municipality, and attempts to rectify issues with the water supply are in motion. Mobile and landline phone services also remain down in some locations.

In the Dreznica area, transportation authorities are continuing their operations, having already cleared most roadways, except a section leading to Divlja Grabovica. Electricity and telephone services in this area are functioning normally, although the water supply remains unsafe for consumption.
