Serbia declares natural disaster in 56 cities, municipalities

It said that heavy rains and floods have caused damage to regional and local infrastructure, public facilities and private residential buildings as well as to agricultural crops.

The Government adopted a conclusion on setting up a Working Group tasked with coordinating activities aimed at eliminating the consequences of the floods and preparing state support programs following the flooding.

The Working Group will be led by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and will hold daily meetings to present and assess the situation on the ground, said the press release.
