The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily 3:00 pm bulletin on Wednesday that 39 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 7,885.
It said that 23,408 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 7,201 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
The total number of people tested to date stands at 5,476,887 with 886,543 confirmed cases.
The bulletin said that there are 5,014 hospitalized cases, including 195 patients on ventilators.
