Over the last 24 hours, 64 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 24,490 tested, 6,948 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
To date, COVID-19 has officially claimed 9,698 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.87 percent.
Currently, 6,791 people are in hospitals, 277 of whom are on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 6,230,395 people have been tested, and 1,118,905 have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
