Serbian Defence Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said that Serbia will provide part of the vaccines against the coronavirus to Bosnia's Serb-dominated Republika Srpska (RS), in case they had enough of them.

“If we have enough, we would like to give some of the vaccines to Republika Srpska, if they fail to procure them. Our main goal is to protect people from the infection, to help,” said Stefanovic.

Asked whether he expected problems from Sarajevo in that case, Stefanovic answered that Serbia had never refused anyone who turned to it for help, and added that Belgrade wanted special ties with everyone in BiH.

This way, he said that Serbia is helping the whole of BiH because that means more investments in the territory of BiH, more cured people, more children who go to school in the best conditions.
