Serbian Minister denied entry to Kosovo

The Ministry said in a press release that Ristic was to attend a ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the Jedinstvo (Unity) weekly, the one remaining Serbian-language print media in Kosovo, set to be held Wednesday at the Culture Center in Gracanica.

Despite the fact that Minister Ristic’s visit was announced in a timely manner in line with an established procedure, it was banned an hour before he was due to cross the administrative line between central Serbia and Kosovo, the Ministry added.
