Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) Patriarch Porfirije arrived at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos in Sarajevo, where he was welcomed by the prelate of the Church in Bosnia, Hrizostom Jevic.
The SPC head is in a two-day visit to the Metropolitanate of Dabro-Bosnia on the occasion of Hrizostom marking 50 years of monastic and 30 years of episcopal service.
The Patriarch will hold liturgy on Sunday morning at the Cathedral and will meet with the mayor of Istocno Sarajevo, Ljubisa Cosic, and mayors of all six municipalities.
