Serbia’s population dropped to less than 7 million people in 2020 with the downward trend set to continue according to data from the Republic Statistics Office (RZS).

The country’s estimated population last year stood at 6,899,126 people of all ages, the RZS said adding that there were 3,538,820 females (51.3 percent) ad 3,360,306 males (48.7 percent).
