Just under 20,000 Serbian citizens are eligible to vote at polling stations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, having registered to vote abroad by the October 3 deadline.
Serbia's Consul General in Banja Luka, Miloš Vujić, explained that Serbian citizens with registered residence in Serbia are entitled to vote, provided they completed the required registration procedure for voting abroad.
"These are citizens who have registered their residence in Serbia. They have the right to vote under one condition: they were required to register for voting abroad using their identity documents through diplomatic and consular missions," Vujić told RTRS.
Voters must present a valid Serbian national identity card or passport, with their registered residence in Serbia recorded in the relevant documents.
Citizens can check whether they are included in the unified electoral register and find their designated polling station through the official website of Serbia's Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.
Deputy Serbian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Nataša Đorđević confirmed that all preparations for voting had been completed and encouraged registered voters to exercise their electoral rights.
"Everything is ready. We invite all our citizens who registered to vote abroad within the prescribed deadline to come to their designated polling stations and exercise their civic right," Đorđević said.
