Heavy rain with wind and thunderstorm hit parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday night, after days of extremely high temperatures.

Meteorologist and N1 columnist Nedim Sladic earlier explained that supercells appear when cold air means hot surface.

“To speak about the power of an atom bomb would be too much. Thunderstorms can be heavy, that is a fact but saying that they have power of atom bomb would create panic,” he said.

Although severe weather conditions last night caused electricity shortage in some cities and was downing trees, no major material damage has been reported.
