The Tax Administration of Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity unblocked the accounts of Bosnia’s public broadcaster, BHRT, following an FBiH Parliament decision last week.
“Unblocking the account was the first step. However, now the problem is the lack of money because the money for the salaries of workers that were in the accounts of BHRT was confiscated by the FBiH Police Department. We must all work together to find an adequate solution for the stable functioning of BHRT,” said FBiH House of Representatives MP, Sanela Prasovic Gadzo.ž

Employees of BHRT protested last week since more than 870 of them were to be left without their salary due to blocked accounts. The reason the accounts were blocked is a massive debt to the Tax Administration.
