Two Air Tractors join firefighting efforts as wildfire breaks out near Mostar

The Professional Firefighting Unit of Mostar told FENA that the fire was reported at 7 am, after which six firefighters were dispatched to the scene with two vehicles.

Two Air Tractors later joined the operation, proving highly useful in extinguishing the fire due to the inaccessible terrain.

Earlier on Friday, a fire also broke out at the Crne stijene site, also near Humilisani, where, according to the Mostar Professional Firefighting Unit, a previously larger fire that had been active for days at the Rujište picnic area spread further.
