Two individuals were arrested in Doboj as part of the "Gorila" operation, during which police seized 48.9 grams of marijuana and an automatic rifle with ammunition, according to the Doboj Police Department.

S.G. was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized production and trafficking of drugs, while M.S. was arrested for unauthorized production and trafficking of drugs and illegal production and trafficking of weapons or explosive materials.

During searches at multiple locations, conducted under a warrant from the Doboj Basic Court, authorities found and confiscated three packages containing 48.9 grams of marijuana, an automatic rifle with a magazine holding 24 rounds, 30 additional rounds for the rifle, drug packaging materials, and other items linked to the crimes.

The arrests were part of the broader “Plantation 2024” operation. On July 30, police also discovered a plantation with 813 cannabis plants, ranging from 50 to 140 centimeters in height, in the Doboj area.

Once the investigation is complete, a report on the criminal offenses will be submitted to the Doboj District Public Prosecutor's Office.
