Two people killed following shooting in Gracanica

The Gracanica Police Station received a report about the incident at approximately 7:40 p.m., after which police officers from the Gracanica Police Station, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Gracanica Police Administration, and an emergency medical team from the Gracanica Health Center were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, the information from the report was confirmed. Police officers found the body of a woman, N.K. (born in 1958), at the scene with no signs of life.

A man, S.K. (born in 1958), was also injured in the shooting and was urgently transported by ambulance to a medical facility. However, he later died from his injuries during transport.

The on-duty prosecutor from the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton has been informed of the tragedy and will oversee the upcoming investigation.

Crime scene investigators from the Criminal Investigation Sector of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton will carry out forensic and investigative procedures at the scene in order to fully clarify all circumstances and determine the motive behind the incident.

Police stated that more official information will be available after the investigation is completed and all legally prescribed procedures have been carried out.
