United Kingdom strongly supports Bosnia and Herzegovina and its prosperity, Bosnian foreign Minister Bisera Turkovic said following the meeting with her British counterpart, UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss.

She assessed the talks with the UK minister as “very significant.”

“UK reaffirms strong support to Bosnia and Herzegovina and our country's prosperity. We discussed the recent developments in BiH and the region,” Turkovic briefly tweeted.

Turkovic previously met with Miroslav Lajcak, European Union's special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and former international peace envoy in Bosnia.

“The situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the focus. I expressed concern over the blockade of European path and jeopardising of the Dayton Peace Agreement. European future of BiH has no alternative. We expect a strong response of the international community,” said Turkovic.
