US/EU in BiH urge parties to back down from proposals contrary to EU standards

Renewed efforts to mediate in the BiH election reform now, before the end of the year will, unfortunately, be futile, US Embassy and the EU Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina admitted in a written statement on Wednesday, adding that parties should back down from maximalist proposals, which are not supported by international and EU standards and lack support within parliament or society.
