US professor: Russia’s potential invasion of Ukraine bad for Balkans
If Russia invades Ukraine, its activities on destabilisation of the Balkans will intensify, Daniel Serwer, a professor at the Johns Hopkins University, told Kosovo's media on Monday.

He told the Koha daily that Russian success or failure in Ukraine would decide Moscow’s fate in Europe
„If Russia’s intervention were successful, it would encourage the growth of its activities aimed at ethnic division and destabilisation in the Balkans. If it fails, it could be the beginning of the end of Russia’s reawakening in Europe,“ Serwer said.
He added he appreciated the pro-Ukrainian position by Kosovo.
"Serbia has already supported Russia in Ukraine, and I agree with Kosovo's position favouring Ukraine," Serwer said.
