The administrator of the US Agency for International Development (USAID), Samantha Power, met with Bosnia’s three Presidency members amid what many say is the biggest political crisis the country has experienced since the end of the war in the 1990s.
Power met with BiH Presidency Chairman and Bosnian Croat member Zeljko Komsic, Bosniak Sefik Dzaferovic and Bosnian Serb Milorad Dodik on Friday.
Power reiterated US support for Bosnia and Herzegovina and its people several times since she arrived in the country on Wednesday.
She previously said that the initiative of Bosnia’s semi-autonomous Republika Srpska (RS) entity to withdraw from state institutions threatens stability in the country and is detrimental in terms of the economy.
