The Association 'Woman - Victim of War' filed a criminal complaint against several persons to the BiH Prosecutor's Office and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council over a "committed a criminal offence of provoking ethnic, racial and religious hatred, discord and intolerance," during the celebration of the unconstitutional January 9 as the Day of Republika Srpska (RS) entity in Visegrad.

”On the eve of January 9, 2024, several persons displayed the officer's hat of the war criminal Ratko Mladic at the Mehmed-pasa Sokolovic bridge, where numerous crimes against Bosniaks were committed, chanting the name of the wartime commander of the RS Army, who was sentenced to life imprisonment due to genocide and other crimes. They also sang songs insulting the dignity of other people, calling for hatred and intolerance,” the Association stated.

According to their press release, a criminal complaint was filed against Novak Knezic from Visegrad, who published and uploaded a video on YouTube, unknown persons who organized the gathering at the said bridge, unknown persons who approved the gathering at the bridge in Višegrad and unknown persons who failed to prevent the gathering.
