Vucic in Sarajevo on Tuesday to deliver donation of Covid-19 vaccines

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will arrive in Sarajevo on Tuesday where he will deliver a donation of 5,000 vaccines against Covid-19, a spokesperson for the SNSD party Radovan Kovacevic told N1.

Serb member of Bosnia and Herzegovina's tripartite Presidency and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik will welcome Vucic upon his arrival.

“Vucic once again proved he is a friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Kovacevic added.

The Government of Bosnia's Federation (FBiH) entity recently authorised prime minister Fadil Novalic to address the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, expressing the readiness of the FBiH entity to accept 5,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines as a donation from the Republic of Serbia.

Previously, Serbia arranged the vaccination of 5,000 health workers from Bosnia's Republika Srpska entity.
