Nebojsa Vukanovic, a member of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, appeared on the program "Dan Uzivo" where he commented on Milorad Dodik's recent statement regarding the potential arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Dodik had stated that Republika Srpska would do everything possible to prevent Bosnia and Herzegovina's institutions from executing an International Criminal Court order to arrest Netanyahu.
Vukanovic described Dodik's stance as evidence of his servility to the U.S. and Israel. “Unfortunately, without any real necessity, Milorad Dodik acts as if he is an important global player, though he is just a marginal figure in world affairs,” said Vukanovic. He added that Dodik's public remarks demonstrate that he is “a loyal servant to American and Jewish interests.”
Vukanovic also highlighted how Bosnian politicians rarely address the suffering of civilians in Gaza, emphasizing the reluctance to criticize American and Israeli actions. “It seems nobody wants to antagonize the Americans or Israelis. Those of us who condemn war, violence, and civilian suffering remain quite isolated,” Vukanovic noted.
Furthermore, Vukanovic asserted that both Dodik and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic serve Western interests, despite occasionally giving statements that appear to support Russia, which he labeled as a calculated move to manipulate pro-Russian sentiment among the Serbian population.
