Serbia's Internal Affairs Minister Aleksandar Vulin said on Monday that Serbian fire-fighting helicopters were deployed to the Republika Srpska entity in Bosnia-Herzegovina under orders from President Aleksandar Vucic.
“Every point of concern for the Republika Srpska is of concern for Serbia,” Vulin is quoted as saying in a ministry press release after meeting with the Serbian police helicopter crews in Trebinje.
Vulin said that the Serbian Internal Affairs Ministry (MUP) is always there for the citizens of Republika Srpska, it added.
The minister said the helicopters and crews would remain in Republika Srpska as long as they are needed.
