Vulin stressed that it is necessary to understand that the recognition of Kosovo is a prerequisite for the continuation of negotiations with the EU and that the sooner the Serbs realize this, the sooner they will turn to themselves and their interests.

“BRICS is an opportunity for Serbia to be among friends, to whom it does not have to hand over its statehood in exchange for continuous lies,” said Vulin.

When it comes to the moves of Pristina and the Western reactions to them, Vulin, who served until recently as the director of the Security and Information Agency of Serbia, pointed out that the West is on the side of the Kosovo Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, and that they support him in everything.

“Sometimes they don’t like his need to show force, but they will never deny him help and protection. They have the same goal, which is an independent, ethnically pure Kosovo recognized by Serbia, a weak and diminished Serbia, and the abolished Republika Srpska and the disunited Serbs,” said Vulin.

According to him, if the EU cancelled the issuance of Euros to Kurti until the unhindered functioning of the dinar is established, it would be enough to solve everything, but the EU would not do that.

Answering the question of the “Novosti” daily whether he fears the “total dismantling of the Republika Srpska and whether its president Milorad Dodik is capable of withstanding the US’ pressures,” Vulin said that he has not the slightest doubt that Dodik will resist the pressures from the West.

“They are trying to ban Dodika from participating in the elections openly, and they are trying to impose the same on Vucic, but covertly. Everything that is done in the RS is always just a preparation for Serbia. I know that President Dodik will endure, just as I know that President Vucic will continue to defend the RS,” said Vulin.

He concluded that there could be no abolition of the Bosnian entity as long as Aleksandar Vucic led Serbia.

“I say Vucic on purpose, not the government or the coalition. Only as long as Vucic leads the state of Serbia will it be a firm guarantor of the Dayton Peace Agreement and will it protect the RS. If many other politicians, including from our coalition, were to decide on this, the RS would long ago have been declared a burden that needs to be dropped,” Vulin concluded.
