The International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT) has scheduled the verdicts for the former head of Serbia’s State Security Service (SDB), Jovica Stanisic, and former head of the country’ Special Operatons Unit (JSO), Franko Simatovic, accused of war crimes committed in Bosnia and Croatia during the 1990s, for June 30.
Stanisic and Simatovic are charged with participating in a joint criminal enterprise led by the then-president Slobodan Milosevic from April 1991 to December 1995, with the goal to remove the majority of Bosniaks and Croats from parts of the territories of BiH and Croatia, Detektor.ba reported.

The IRMCT abolished the provisional release of Stanisic and Simatovic, and ordered them to return to the United Nations detention unit by June 24.
It asked Serbia to determine members of its Interior ministry who will accompany the two from their residences to the airport in the Netherlands where they will be handed over to Dutch authorities.
It also asked the authorities of all countries Stanisic and Simatovic will pass through to keep them in custody while in transit, as well as to arrest them in case of an attempt to escape during the trip.
The government of the Netherlands was asked to secure the transport of the two from the airport to the detention unit.
