War criminal Mladic’s defence requests urgent release due to terminal illness

On June 2, the defence team for former Commander of the Army of Republika Srpska, Ratko Mladic, submitted an urgent motion to the Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals (MICT) requesting either provisional or early release on humanitarian grounds.
