The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina has suspended the public procurement process for organizing the Western Balkans-EU Summit, which was scheduled to take place on December 4th and 5th in Neum.
The reason for the suspension is an appeal against the decision to select Mindset Sarajevo as the event organizer. The appeal was filed by the bidder Mita Group Sarajevo, as stated in the decision published on the General Secretariat's website.
The process will remain suspended until the Bosnia and Herzegovina Procurement Review Office makes a decision.
Considering the usual length of decision-making processes regarding appeals and the repeated procurement procedures, it is unlikely that the summit arrangements will be finalized by next week.
Mindset was chosen out of four companies that submitted bids, with the justification being that their offer was the lowest.
