Usame Zukorlic, the leader of Serbia’s Justice and Reconciliation Party and Deputy Speaker of Serbia’s National Assembly said Tuesday he came to Potocari to share the pain with the Bosniaks of BiH, especially the Srebrenica Bosniaks, because of the genocide that took place in the 90s.

“I want you to know that not only Sandžak, where I come from, but the Republic of Serbia, in general, has its part that sympathizes with the victims and Srebrenica and that wants reconciliation between the peoples of the Balkans, especially between Bosniaks and Serbs, to be built on the foundations of justice. Being a freedom-minded Bosniak in Belgrade was unknown until now and this is what we brought as a novelty from the area of Sandzak and the policy established by the late academic Muamer Zukorlic that we are continuing,” Zukorlic said in Potocari.

The Vice President of the Government of Montenegro, Ervin Ibrahimovic, said that today is a day of sadness for all Bosniaks and a day of remembrance of the retrograde policies that led to genocide and killed people just because of their name and religion.

“I call on the entire world public to finally defeat this tragedy that took place in Srebrenica, for the rule of law to prevail, for all victims to have the right to justice and their families. I sympathize with all the families of the victims,” said Ibrahimovic.
