Prosecutors ask for harsher sentence for Dodik, defense calls for acquittal to "relax political tensions"
In the case against the president of BiH's Republika Srpska (RS) entity, Milorad Dodik, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina believes that the manner in which the criminal offense was committed—as well as the convict’s behavior during and after the proceedings—indicates that the first-instance verdict is insufficient and that a one-year prison sentence will not serve as a deterrent.
