The President of the BiH entity Republika Srpska and fugitive from the law, Milorad Dodik, stated that he has no expectations from the appeals process before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A session of the Appellate Panel of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the case against Dodik and acting director of the Official Gazette of RS, Milos Lukic, is scheduled for tomorrow, but it remains uncertain whether it will be held at all.

Ahead of tomorrow’s session of the Appellate Panel, Dodik said that he is not participating in it, and that “the process against him was rigged from the beginning, so there’s no reason to expect anything different now”.

The entity president stated that his lawyers believe the procedure should be respected, and that he instructed them to do so without him.

"We’ve made some of our own decisions, and depending on how this unfolds, we’ll probably have to deepen them, make them more operational – it all depends on the outcome," Dodik told RT Balkan.

When asked to comment on the fact that the Ukrainian website “Myrotvorets” listed him as an enemy of Ukraine, Dodik said it was misleading to claim such a thing, adding that just because he considers Russia’s aggression completely “justified” does not mean he is against Ukraine.

"I regularly meet with the president of Russia [Vladimir Putin], so that’s something that probably looks that way to them. That Ukraine made many mistakes is true. Their political elite chose to provoke Russia, to try to deny Russians their rights on the territory of Ukraine – to language, script, religion – they are taking their church from them, and that’s why the Russian operation is entirely justified," said Dodik.
