Some 50 young electrical engineers from Bosnia and Croatia will gather in May in Bosnia’s southern town Siroki Brijeg, where they are going to visit hydroelectric power plants, companies, factories and other important energy facilities.

The event officially called ‘The Days of Young Engineers 2018’ is organized in cooperation with the US Embassy to Bosnia and Herzegovina and FEAL company.

Head of ‘Initiative for Siroki Brijeg’ Igor Sliskovic told Fena news agency that this year’s gathering of young engineers will focus on energy, automatization, alternative sources of energy, renewable sources and electric power quality.

“We are expanding year by year and including other different spheres,” said Sliskovic, adding that new ideas and cooperations are always welcome.

‘Initiative for Siroki Brijeg’ is a Youth association focusing on improvement of youth life quality and promotion of technical science.
