The ninth Sarajevo Business Forum commenced in Sarajevo. The meeting will gather the leaders from the region and the rest of the world, who will discuss cooperation and economic development, with focus on the economic connectivity of South-East Europe and the region’s cooperation with the EU.

Dino Selimovic, Marketing Director of the BBI Bank, said on behalf of the organizer that the 9th Sarajevo Business Forum managed to connect the entire world.

“Given that the Sarajevo Business Forum is a regional conference, it can be said that there is a shift in the region when it comes to removing barriers and obstacles both for foreign and domestic investments. This progress is much bigger in some countries with bigger incentives, and easier inflow of foreign investors, while some other countries have not removed all these barriers,” Selimovic said. “A number of contacts have been established in the past eight Sarajevo Business Forums. Not counting this conference, the SBF hosted more than 8,000 participants from 50 countries. We have been able to invite and connect the whole world, we also hope for concrete investments and realization projects.”

The Sarajevo Business Forum will be held on Wednesday and Thursday in Sarajevo and it was opened by the BBI Bank CEO and the CEO of the Islamic Development Bank Bandar M. H. Hajjar.
