Despite this, he concluded that the most powerful nations failed to “bring Serbia down to its knees,” stating that, because of this, Serbia, under his leadership, succeeded.

Vucic emphasized that the fight wasn't about denying someone's victims, but rather to save Serbia from paying war reparations and a revision of the Bosnia and Herzegovina v. Serbia verdict.

He began his address by quoting certain sections of the Dayton Peace Agreement, concluding that this proves the resolution on Srebrenica is a “brutal trampling on Dayton and the Constitution of BiH,” and that the Americans, who are now silent, are aware of this.

“It's clear that consensus was needed in the Presidency (for the decision on the Srebrenica resolution), and if someone had been outvoted, the protection of vital national interests would have been triggered. In the General Assembly, for the first time in its history, a decision would be made on an act for which there's no consensus among the constituent peoples it concerns. Let me go further—regarding Rwanda, aside from agreement among the Hutus and Tutsis, they needed approval from all the African countries. They conducted consultations within the country and with regional partners, but we first heard about the resolution from our German partners. We asked them why they hadn't informed us, since we are ‘guarantors’ of Dayton, and our population represents 32% of Bosnia. The Americans were smarter than others, so they withdrew. They remain silent because they know we are right,” the Serbian president asserted.
