Bosnian citizens will be able to travel to China visa-free, after May 29th, 2018. This was confirmed after the meeting between the Bosnian Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak and the Chinese Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Chen Bo.

During the meeting at the Foreign Ministry building in Sarajevo, Ambassador Bo submitted a third note confirming that the agreement between Bosnia’s Council of Ministers and the Government of China, on the mutual abolition of visas for the ordinary citizens of China and Bosnia, will come into force on May 29th, 2018.

The said agreement was signed in November 2017 in Budapest, and it specifies that citizens of both countries can enter and stay on the territory of both countries for a period of up to 90 days, during a 180-day period.

The Chinese Government informed the Bosnian Embassy in Beijing that the ratification process of the said agreement was completed in December 2017, while Bosnia ratified the agreement in April 2018.
