RS registered 64 measles cases in the past three months

There were some 64 cases of measles registered by the Public Health Institute of Bosnia’s Serb dominated Republika Srpska (RS) entity within the past three months, and in 55 of them, the victims were either not vaccinated, insufficiently vaccinated, or their vaccination status is unknown.

Most of the measels cases in Bosnia’s semi-autonomous RS entity, 37 of them, happened in the town of Banjaluka.

Those who contracted the disease are mostly aged between 20 and 39, with a total of 28 cases, while 13 toddlers aged between one and four years old contracted the virus.
