Federation's Trade Minister Zlatan Vujanovic confirmed on Thursday the gas stations will reduce the fuel price as of Friday.

The fuel price change in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), Bosnia's semi-autonomous entity, was announced earlier this week, prior to the minister's final confirmation.

“It is a very current topic and it is my pleasure to have as quality communication as possible and inform the public in the most precise way,” said Vujanovic, adding that the FBiH was thoroughly informed about this matter at the Thursday's session.

“The difference in prices will be visible tomorrow. (…) The price change is mandatory and will be visible tomorrow. The price will be reduced by 0.05-0.10 Bosnian mark (EUR 0.025-0.05),” added the minister.

Vujanovic held a meeting with representatives of the oil distributors’ companies in Bosnia on Tuesday, to discuss the issue of increasing fuel prices, which triggered mass protests in parts of the country. The meeting resulted in the price change announced for the end of this week.
