A Bosnian Croat political leader said on Monday that the alleged promotion of military industry cooperation between Serbia and the Republika Srpska (RS), a Serb-dominated entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is dangerous because arms are allegedly being supplied to the RS.
“The Serbian Defence Ministry is arming (RS President) Milorad Dodik’s separatist regime,” the former Bosnia's Presidency member said.
“It is impermissible for the ministry of a neighboring country which has obliged itself to respect the Dayton Peace Agreement (which ended the war in Bosnia following the breakup of Yugoslavia), to be arming Dodik’s separatist regime and investing more than 7 million Euro,” Komsic, who heads the Democratic Front (DF) party, said.
Komsic said under BiH law Serbia could not have signed an agreement on military industry cooperation with one of the country’s two entities and called the Bosnia's Presidency to react immediately.
