Bosnia and Herzegovina recorded more than 150,000 tourists in May 2018, which is 18.1 percent more than in April 2018 and 9 percent more than in May 2017.
Tourists also made 287,117 overnight stays in May 2018, which is 16.6 percent more than in April 2018 and 7.4 percent more than in May 2017.
The number of domestic tourist overnight stays increased in May 2018 by 36.5 percent compared to April 2018 and by 3.1 percent compared to May 2017.
The number of foreign tourist overnight stays was 9.2 percent higher in May 2018, than in April 2018 and 9.5 percent higher than in May 2017.
When it comes to the structure of foreign tourist overnight stays, the highest number of overnight stays was made by tourists from Turkey (9.9 percent), Serbia (7.8 percent), Croatia (7.7 percent), Germany (5.8 percent), Slovenia (5.7 percent), Italy (5.4 percent), Poland (4.8 percent) and China (4.3 percent), totaling to 51.4 percent.
Tourists from other countries made 48.6 percent of overnight stays.
