Wigemark said that after the families and other vulnerable migrant categories were accommodated in the “Sedra” Hotel in Bihac, other migrant categories need to be accommodated as well and one of the possible solutions is somewhere between Bosanski Petrovac and Bihac.
Bosanski Petrovac Municipal Assembly concluded, Tuesday, that they oppose any proposal of migrants’ accommodation atMedeno field, in the area of Bosanski Petrovac.
During the meeting, Hujic reiterated the Assembly’s opposition to the relocation of migrants to Medeno field but also pointed out that this Municipality will try to find adequate models of solving the migrant crisis in cooperation with other municipalities in the Una-Sana Canton (Northern Bosnia).

"We talked about the potential location, halfway between Bihac and Bosanski Petrovac. In a conversation with Bihac Mayor Suhret Fazlic, we agreed that this could be the area of Lipa (near Bihac). That area is uninhabited and the potential migrant centre would not interfere either with Bihac or with our Municipality,” Hujic said. “A preliminary study will be made, taking into account today's conversation, and we will then move towards a more concrete solution.”
On Wednesday assistant Security Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Samir Rizvo told N1 there are some 9,000 migrants and refugees in Bosnia at the moment, half of which are in the Una-Sana Canton, in Northern Bosnia.
